Description
All races will start and finish at Rancho San Rafael. Enjoy great views of the Truckee Meadows as you ascend/descend Peavine Mountain. The 50M/50K courses have been modified because of last summer's Hawken Forest Fire, which resulted in the Forest Service closing about one-third of the traditional 50/50 course. The modified course is now an out and back, and includes more singletrack (rocky and smooth) trails plus some of the original dirt roads. The 50M course has more than 9,200 feet of ascent and more than 9,200 feet of descent. See detailed information of each course below. The new/modified course is still an excellent trainer for 100-mile or other challenging races. Aid stations are fully stocked and strategically located for your optimum performance.
